The Opinel knives have a blade made of 12C27 Sandvik stainless steel.
The handle, made from a single piece, is made of beech wood, which is protected from
moisture by a special varnish.
Of course also with the unique Virobloc system, with which the blade can be locked in
place in a flash.
To lock the blade, you only have to turn the locking ring.
