Old Bear, pocket knife, small, laminated wood, nail groove, black
For its 90th birthday, the Antonini company, founded in 1925, presented the Old Bear
series, which interprets the classic pocket knife in a very convincing way.
The core of the knives are the wooden handles, which carry the traditional
locking mechanism.
A rotating ring inserted into the brass ferrule, which locks the blade both open and closed,
was patented as a locking mechanism for pocket knives in 1985 by the Todesco company in
Maniago, the active partner in this project.
The black tone-on-tone design gives the Old Bear pocket knife an unexpected
elegance.
The ergonomically shaped handle made of black laminated wood gives the knife an
extremely elegant appearance, while the blackened brass ferrule shimmers silkily.
The rust-proof blade made of 420 is also coated with a rich black Teflon coating.
The engraving on the blade corresponds to the untreated solid rivet of the blade connection.
