Kolser decorative flintlock pirate pistol, 18th century
In 1550 the Flintlock was invented, in which a flint strikes steel and creates the spark
that ignites the powder.
The first known model comes from the Netherlands and is called Schnapphann.
This 18th century pirate flintlock replica whose main feature is in it insists that it was a
pistol for pirates and corsairs.
Its dimension is 36 cm, from the barrel to the mouthpiece it is made of resin, which is
simulated wood and decorated with beautiful neoclassical ornaments.
The mechanism of the pistol is fully articulated, but cannot be fired.
